Nymphomatriarch is a 2003 breakcore album, resulting from a collaboration between Venetian Snares and his then-girlfriend Hecate (credited as Aaron Funk and Rachael Kozak on the release). The two breakcore artists sampled various sexual activities performed with one another while they were touring Europe, and only these samples were used to construct the album. The actual sequencing of each track took only thirteen days from May 1 to May 13, 2002, and was done (along with more sample-acquisition) in Venetian Snares' hometown of Winnipeg.
Опубликовано: 3 июн. 2015 г.With three albums under their belt, German Psych rockers My Sleeping Karma put out their fourth release Soma in September of 2012 through Napalm Records.
With each successive release one can tell how much the band has progressed since their self-titled debut in 2006. Over a span of 6 years My Sleeping Karma has been able to consistently produce quality atmospheric, chill, fuzzed out psychedelic/stoner grooves. In this release, the band has built upon their subsequent releases, combining infectious acoustic guitar riffs with heavily crusted tones to create an epicly chill, otherwordly record.
second studio album by American stoner rock band Kyuss, released in 1992.[2] While the album received mainly favorable reviews, it fared poorly commercially, selling only 39,000 units. It has since become a very influential album within the stoner rock genre.
Blues for the Red Sun was the last Kyuss album to feature founding bassist Nick Oliveri, who was replaced by Scott Reeder shortly after recording had been completed. Reeder had previously played with The Obsessed.[3]
