Yarden was fascinated by the whole process of writing music, sound and production from an early age, especially drawn to The Delta’s album Scizoeffective and Cosma's album Simplicity. His first encounter with Trance happened when he was 13 years old when he bought a cassette of Goa Vibes vol. 1 in a local music shop. Since that moment he was hooked and sucked into the Psytrance oblivion and knew he had to be a part of its creators. Tzahi encountered Psytrance in an early age through friends and started to go to parties in age 16 to absorb the real deal. He started to toy with production and music while experimenting with all the options that came to his mind. Both have been heavily influenced by artists such as Freq, X-Dream, Ace Ventura, Astrix, Atmos and many more. After years of mutual exchange of inspirational musical molecules they have decided to join forces to one powerful compound, and in 2011 – Side Effects was born.
The massive Side Effects that these two leave after consuming their music is immediately felt – powerful, intoxicating and exhilarating melodic sensation. They have released in various labels such as Plusquam, Iboga, TesseracTstudio and of course brewed some quality top notch ingredients at Iono Music such as the EPs One Man’s Vision, Complete Control and Black Hole. But of course as a nomad assemblage they have spread their Side Effects all over the world. Through these voyages they have joined forces with other artist to augment their contagious formula such as Symbolic, Time Lock, Egorythmia, Time in Motion, Zyce, Sideform and others.
