В этот раз детишки Барбоскиных красавица Роза, Гена, Дружок, Лиза и Малыш опять напроказничали и съели дома все конфеты. Папа сильно злиться, проводит воспитательную работу и наказывает всех детей: запрет на сладкое и на просмотр телевизора на целых две недели. Что же делать, как прожить без сладкого?
В результате Лиза начинает следить за своими братьями и сестрой, чтобы они не ели сладости. Девочка воображает себя известным, опытным детективом, который проводит важное расследование. Вскоре она обнаруживает, что Малыш потерял конфету, но он не признается, где взял лакомство. Тогда Лиза решает, что он всего лишь «пешка» в данном деле.
Вскоре выясняется, что Дружок и Гена тоже прячут конфеты. Но, что самое удивительное мальчики убираются и делают уроки за Розочку. Лизка решает, что сестра подкупила братьев конфетами. Она врывается в комнату Розы и обнаруживает, что девочка в одиночку ест все конфеты. Тогда Лиза забирает все сладости и съедает их, а затем становится в угол, чтобы наказать себя. А главное, девочка считает, что спасла братишек и сестру, ведь есть сладкое очень вредно.
В итоге все детки остаются без сладкого, а Лиза наоборот полакомилась и спасла семью от вредного влияния конфет.
