PMtv: Stig Noise Sound System (uk) recording @ WORM Rotterdam. April 2013
Опубликовано: 11 апр. 2013 г.recently invited by our friend Yuri Landman to use the studio facilities in WORM, an amazing independent venue, cafe, recordshop/video store(?) in Rotterdam in Holland that also houses this
studio run by Henc & Lucas which is the home of the most amazing and beautiful old synths and sound generators.
We recorded a bunch of our new live arrangements and began to bury them in some excellent noises and drones from all their excellent machines. This is a little chunk of a track called ' Skatty Favela Broadcasting Federation'.
This will be released later in the year on Her Majestys Record Company. Liverpool.

A living outsider music legend is finally coming to Rotterdam. The Space Lady began her odyssey on the streets of Boston in the late 70s (and San Francisco a decade later) playing versions of contemporary pop music with a dilapidated old accordion found in a junk store in Jamaica Plain; whilst wearing a winged helmet with a blinking red ball on top. Following the theft and destruction of her accordion, The Space Lady invested in a Casio keyboard with a phase shifter and headset mic, bringing a new, and otherworldly element to pop music; an interpretation that has captured the imaginations of many. The legend of The Space Lady has continued to grow; following inclusions on compilations by John Maus, Erol Alkan and Irwin Chusid's «Songs In The Key of Z».
