Team Sleep is the band's eponymous debut studio album. It was released in Europe on May 9, 2005 and a day later in the United States through Maverick Records.

Жаклин не помнит большую часть своего пребывания в ожоговом отделении, но она ярко помнит свои галлюцинации. Ей казалось, что больничный персонал пытался убить её родителей. В своём воображении она видела как отцу наносят удар ножом в спину, а потом он оживает, и снова получает удар ножом, и так раз за разом…Всякий раз, когда он ненадолго покидал её больничную палату, Жаклин мысленно молила о том, чтобы дверь была заперта…
В сентябре 1999 года в машину, в которой находилась Жаклин, врезалась другая машина, за
рулем которой находился 17-летний студент, ехавший домой после того,
как он выпил со своими друзьями изрядное количество пива. Машина, в которой находилась Жаклин, загорелась. Она оказалась запертой внутри. У девушки обгорело 60 процентов тела. Двое из ее спутниц погибли на месте, но Жаклин успели доставить в больницу. Она потеряла лицо, волосы, частично слух и зрение. Кисти ее рук были обожжены настолько, что их пришлось ампутировать. А чтобы сохранить жизнь девушке, ей было сделано более 50 операций.
В июне 2001 года Реджинальд Стэфей, виновный в аварии предстал перед судом по обвинению в вождении в нетрезвом состоянии, непреднамеренном убийстве и нанесении тяжких телесных повреждений. Парень получил семь лет тюрьмы и обязан был выплатить пострадавшим 20 тысяч долларов. На процессе он плакал, а теперь он говорит, что не может простить себя за то, что находился за рулем в нетрезвом состоянии в ту ночь.
Жаклин Сабуридо нашла в себе силы жить и бороться.

Weird Owl — Nuclear Psychology (2007) (Full Album)

Опубликовано: 29 апр. 2014 г.New York City's Weird Owl easily qualifies as one of the best-kept secrets in psychedelic space rock. Weird Owl is a strange bird that takes flight on wings of fuzz and reverb, with a vintage late '60s/early '70s acid-rock sound influenced by the likes of Hawkwind, Steppenwolf, Black Sabbath, and Iron Butterfly. These guys are as faithful to that sound as Witchcraft is to early '70s proto-doom, presenting a brighter side of the retro coin that's just as powerful and genuine.

The synesthetic quality of Weird Owl's music is evident from the hazy opening of «Like 100,000 Sunsets» as the leisurely pace, hypnotic keyboard runs, and nostalgic vocals paint visions of multicolored kaleidoscopic patterns throughout the song. The same is true of «Tickle The Invisible» with its mind-expanding lyrics and acid-drenched guitar licks, capped off by a vibrant solo near the end. «White Hidden Fire», is the heaviest and picks up the tempo courtesy of a shamelessly cool Sabbath-inspired riff, while the rhythm section locks into a killer groove, intensified by a driving organ in a spacy jam to end the song.

All of these brilliant transmissions from a higher plane of consciousness are over seven minutes in length. The only problem is that it leaves the listener wanting more, and that really isn't a problem at all for Weird Owl. I feel confident recommending Nuclear Psychology to all fans of retro-sounding psychedelic rock. Buy the ticket, take the ride.
