Deviant UK se formó en 2004 como una banda de Synthpop. El nombre de la banda fue elegido inicialmente, ya que fue como el líder describió su visión de la vida, aparentemente como «algo o alguien fuera de la norma aceptada. Inspirado por su héroe Gary Numan, Smith admitió con franqueza su deseo de vivir en „Sexo, drogas y rock n' roll“

El primer álbum fue lanzado en octubre de 2006, titulado „Barbed Wire Star“'. Que fue un gran éxito de crítica con canciones como „Access Denied!“ y „Raptured Saints“ que se tocan en pistas de baile en Europa y EE.UU. y con esto rápidamente la banda se a ganado una sólida base de fans entre los aficionados de EBM, géneros industriales y gótico.

A Look Into the Album: «Poisson Soluble» is the first album ever produced by the now legendary breakcore artist Igorrr and shows his experimentation in looking for his own sound throughout the production. Because of the highly experimental nature of this album, it has become a great way to introduce people to many aspects of IDM, while keeping them sane at the same time. Compared to later works which featured songs that would murder your ears in a rhythmic fashion with a dose of schizophrenia, «Poisson Soluble» is extremely tame and is missing many of the staples heard in more popular and recent works of Igorrr. (most notably the singers)

Like any Gautier Serre (Igorrr) composition, his precision and controlled chaos gives listeners a batch of wonderful ear candy that never fails to impress. If you're looking for a calm, yet powerful freakshow of music… then «Poisson Soluble» is just for you.
