With the huge success of their All or Nothing LP laying in the backdrop, Calyx & Teebee are about to take the title place yet again and with the full throttle forces of pounding basslines and meticulously constructed mechanics. But what else could you expect from two revered veterans of the genre, whose joint muscle has telescoped the competition in comparison.
However, it’s not just their duteous workmanship and forty years of expeirence that makes their forthcoming ‘1x1’ album so undeniably huge. In tracks like ‘Nothing Left’ Larry Con’s vocals lead you by the hand into all-out anarchy. Revving between each break, your picked up and dropped by verbal crescendos. Angry, yet innovative and impressively intricate, Calyx & Teebee have raised expectations even higher.
And then comes ‘Stray Bullet’, a minefield of drum patterns and wavering note arpeggios. A steppy riddim which completely envelops the sense, each segment explodes on impact. Sliced and diced by invasive samples, you’re unable to resist; plunging you deep into the mix, the slowly building drop pushes you into a freefall of plucky subs and jittering percussion.
‘Ghetto’ rolls out as another new number, again featuring the vocal talents of Doctor; it’s a gritty, sharp and pumping with shaking subs; a conundrum of hi-hats and aggressive drum patterns. Pounding pads take you towards a colossal break, juxtaposing perfectly against the LPs softer touches.
Having already hit the number one spot on the Beatport drum & bass chart with both singles ‘A Day That Never Comes’, ‘Long Gone’ and ‘Cloud 9’, it’s quite clear to see why the anticipation is almost unbearable. Also including the infamous collaboration with Doctor on ‘Where We Go’, brand new, female-lead vocal ‘track ‘The Fall’, half-time switch up ‘False Alarm’ as well as even more material to be unleashed, this LP will catapult you head first into their greatest output yet.
Having played some of the world’s biggest stages, including EDC, London’s SW4, Ram’s seminal NYE event and UKF’s Sea Dance Festival, expect another one of music’s most prominent seasons filled with new music from Calyx & Teebee. ‘1X1’ is set to make history, which isn’t surprising after hitting millions of streams with their previous singles and detonating dancefloors globally.

As mentioned on the main page, this web site will be bilingual. As German is my native language and my English is not that hot, I will write news items about my releases in English, while the category Gedanken/Thoughts will very likely be in German.
But let's start with a few facts about me.
I was born born on the 1st of December, 1976. My home town is Hilden, near Düsseldorf and Cologne.
It all started at the age of 16, when I got my hands on a Technics MKII-1210 for the first time. From this moment, I spent almost all my money on buying vinyl records.
I was lucky and got some gigs, so I performed as DJ in various clubs for a few years.
But then, I fell in love with this girl and gave up my hobby for living together. That was the first hard lesson I have had to learn.
NEVER, NEVER, NEVER EVER give up your hobby for a girlfriend, even if you love her like hell.
The result was that she left me after 2 years and I bit my ass 'cause i sold all my vinyl records.
The years passed, and my activities in regards to music and DJing were very poor.
After a couple of years i started making music with Rebirth — the sound of a 303 is still something I love.
Then I tried Reason 2.5, but — to be honest — I never got to grips with the closed system of Reason.
As I am a huge fan of monolake and Plastikman, I tried Live 3.0 and was very happy with it. The only thing that was missing in Live was VSTI support.
This changed with Version 4.0 of Live. From this point on, all my music has been done with Live 4.0+.
My main focus at the moment is some sort of ambient and moody stuff.
My inspirations and top acts of electronic/ambient music are (in no special order):
Klaus Schulze
Pete Namlook
Steve Roach
Robert Rich
John Serrie
Lustmord
Biosphere
Anthony Rother
Monolake
Plastikman
Kubusschnitt

I want to thank Bob Moog for creating some of the richest and most unique sounding instruments on this planet. And I want to thank all the people around the world which are creating music by their own hands and share their nicest tracks with our huge community.

The Label-Section was founded in 2001 by Dirk Hartmann (label-owner of Hörzu!) and Andreas Buttweiler, and become a netlabel in 2006.
In 2008 they start their digital label Kreislauf Kommerz.
Опубликовано: 29 янв. 2014 г.A message from Whitley: «Starfire Tor is one of the most extraordinary people I know. Anne and I have witnessed numerous documented shifts through space and time as a result of being with her and knowing her.» This interview chronicles some of those experiences and documents an astonishing and massive event involving the Los Angeles fires that Starfire predicted at 9:55 AM on Monday, August 31 on her Facebook page, and which happened--against all meteorological expectations--on Tuesday, exactly as she predicted.
Listen as Whitley and Starfire and her close friend Brandon Scott describe timeslips and tell how we can all become sensitive to this very real phenomenon and use it in our lives. In addition, Anne corroborates a stunner of a timeshift that happened to her and Starfire at the Magic Castle Townhouse in Los Angeles, and was witnessed by Whitley.
