Gotta find a way back to you
I can be the white knight
You can play the princess
We'll be running like outlaws
Hiding in the midnight
Break down them gates
Let in the sunlight
Throw me over these walls
High up in the atmosphere
If I could catapult my heart
What's the empire for
I'm gonna get you outta here
If I could catapult my heart
To where you are
You say you had your heart broken
What a stupid little thing to do
Now you're tied to a train track
But I'm a gonna come
and rescue you
Make no mistake
I'll do whatever it takes
To get over these walls
High up in the atmosphere
If I could catapult my heart
What's the empire for
Ooh I'm gonna get you outta here
If I could catapult my heart
To where you are
If I could catapult my heart
Oh throw me over these walls
Ooh high up in the atmosphere
If I could catapult my heart
What's the empire for
Ooh I'm gonna get you outta here
If I could catapult my heart
To where you are
If I could catapult my heart
To where you are
I'm gonna catapult my heart.
Alex Paterson and Tom Midleton — Thursday Tea Time on Groovetech Radio (2002-06-13)

Thursday Tea Time Show
Alex Paterson
Paterson had worked as a roadie for Killing Joke during the '80s, and began to be influenced by the explosion of Chicago house music in England during the mid-to-late-'80s. He joined the A&R department of E.G. Records Ltd. Records — the home of Brian Eno himself — and first recorded as the Orb with Jimmy Cauty. The duo's first release as the Orb, the failed acid-house anthem «Tripping on Sunshine», appeared on the 1988 compilation album Eternity Project One.
Alex Paterson and Jimmy Cauty had been recording an album during the turn of 1989-90, but the two split in April 1990 — a result of Paterson's fear that the Orb had become known more as a KLF, The side-project than an original act. Cauty stripped Paterson's contribution to the recordings and released the eponymous album — credited simply as Space — later that year.
The Orb released several albums trough the '90s, including The Orb's Adventures Beyond The Ultraworld, Aubrey Mixes: The Ultraworld Excursions (which were only available for one day but still managed to place in the Top 50) and Orblivion.

History
A classically-trained pianist and cellist from Cornwall, he met Richard D James (The Aphex Twin) in 1989. Learned the science of sound sampling and synth programming by observing Richard in the studio. This friendship lead to Tom co-producing a track for the 'Analogue Bubblebath' EP as Schizophrenia, which has now reached cult status. Tom introduced Richard to Mighty Force Records and helped broker the record deal for the EP.
After graduating in Graphic Design in 1991, Tom met Mark Pritchard, a Producer/DJ with similar musical tastes. The pair set up the Evolution Records imprint (which later became Universal Language Productions Ltd and the final incarnation as E3.)
They recorded under an number pseudonyms, from Reload (Techno and IDM), Global Communication (Electronica and Ambient) — notably developing the principal of integrating pure emotions in sound, Secret Ingredients (Deep House), and one of the most popular projects; Jedi Knights (Electro Boogie, P-Funk, Breakbeats, House), whose album 'New School Science' notably inspired the likes of The Prodigy (who sampled Jedi Knights 'Air Drums From Outer Bongolia' for their track 'Climbatize') and The Chemical Brothers to Daft Punk, The Freestylers and Adam Freeland.
Tom hosted a weekly Radio show on Kiss FM, tutored the winning aspiring DJ Ryan Shaw on ITV's Joy Of Decks TV show and has curated events and Festival spaces including Sound Of The Cosmos at The Big Chill 2011.

«There's plenty of mythology surrounding Andrew Weatherall—Boys Own, Shoom, Primal Scream, the beard and so on. But in a career that's lasted over 30 years, and has presumably included every conceivable high and low, Weatherall has always been about cutting out the bullshit, building a reputation that's beyond reproach.
The short version of the story is that Weatherall established himself as a DJ, producer and journalist during dance music's first wave in the UK; went on to produce and remix acts like Primal Scream, Beth Orton and My Bloody Valentine; formed two influential groups—Two Lone Swordsmen, The Sabres Of Paradise—who were signed to Warp; and, through his work as a DJ, producer and label boss, became a sort of father figure for leftfield dance music in the UK. These days, collaboration is still an important part of Weatherall's artistic makeup. He runs the semi-regular „mid-tempo“ party A Love From Outer Space with Sean Johnston, which takes place at various venues in the UK and Europe. His last album, Ruled By Passion, Destroyed By Lust was written with Timothy J. Fairplay as The Asphodells; together they write dubby, synth-heavy dance tracks in the manner of a band. While Daniel Avery has almost become Weatherall's protégé, the two work from the same studio space in East London and play back-to-back whenever they get the chance.
RA.470 incorporates many of the elements that have made Weatherall so consistently interesting. The tempo is set to a carefully considered chug while rich electronics take flight overhead. The tracks are rooted in house and disco but the spirit of a guitar band never feels far away.»
