Passion, dedication and hard work — Kosenprod is a label which is all about these things and more. Created back in 2011, the label is known to cross boundaries between bass music, techno and drum & bass, with a diverse roster of artists and producers all with an eye and an ear for creativity and sincerity.

One such artist is The Clamps. Graduating from techno, to breaks and trance, to d&b, the producer values everything hard and extreme, taking his influences and creating something new. All of this is showcased on the new release, the Aekon EP.

Slowly building up, the producer adds layers of sounds, from the complex and involving drum work through to bass and percussion. RND# (NE) was a new commission for the AV Festival by filmmaker and designer Richard Fenwick — four shorts made in and around Newcastle for his RND# series of experimental films.

RND# is an ongoing series of films that deal with the theme of technology versus humanity. Each film (in a proposed set of 100) is a direct response to the ways in which local culture and society deal with technology. Cathode composed and produced soundtracks for two of these films.

Dr Bruce Goldberg — Egypt, Time Travel and Alien Abductions

Is it possible that some of the alien abductions reported each year are actually the
result of Chrononauts or Time Travelers — our very own species — visiting us from

being abducted by beings who represent us — as well as extraterrestrial

evolved from four sources: Lemuria, Atlantis, ETs, and Time Travelers. Although
technologically a successful civilization, spiritually, Egypt was a failure. The
Time Traveler's role in supervising Egypt's development and attempting to correct
many of the mistakes brought on by ETs is emphasized. Dr Bruce Goldberg is a clinical
hypnotist who has regressed 11,000 individual patients. He wrote the international

Nearly everything the American public has seen, read and heard in the media for nearly 80 years about the so-called Amelia Earhart mystery is intentionally false or inadvertently misleading. The widely accepted myth that the disappearance of Amelia Earhart and Fred Noonan during their ill-fated world-flight attempt in July 1937 is among the greatest aviation mysteries of the 20th century is an abject lie, the result of decades of government propaganda that continues unabated to this day. Amelia Earhart: The Truth at Last dismantles and debunks the popular theories that Amelia Earhart’s Electra crashed and sank off Howland Island on July 2, 1937, or landed at Gardner Island, now Nikumaroro, where the suddenly helpless fliers died of starvation on an island teeming with food sources. The Truth at Last presents many remarkable and enlightening new findings, eyewitness accounts, and never published revelations from unimpeachable sources including three famed U.S. flag officers and iconic newsman and Earhart researcher Fred Goerner’s files that reveal the truth about Amelia’s death on Saipan, as well as the sacred cow status of this matter within the U.S. Mike Campbell served as an award winning print and broadcast journalist while on active duty with the U.S. Navy and as a civilian public affairs officer with the Air Force. As a result of an assignment to write a newspaper overview story about the so-called Earhart “mystery” for the Navy, Mike began seriously studying the history of research into the disappearance of Amelia Earhart. In 1988 he began a long–term correspondence with Thomas E. Devine, author of the 1987 classic, Eyewitness: The Amelia Earhart Incident, and soon became convinced that Devine, Fred Goerner, Paul Briand Jr., Vincent V. Loomis and Bill Prymak were correct when they claimed that Earhart and Fred Noonan died on Saipan at an undetermined date after they failed to reach Howland Island on July 2, 1937. After 14 years of collaboration with Devine, With Our Own Eyes: Eyewitnesses to the Final Days of Amelia Earhart, was published in 2002 by a small Ohio company. He retired in October 2008 after 30 years of combined military and civilian service, and lives in Jacksonville, Florida with his wife, Nee, and their cats.

Following on from the success of our collaboration with W Amsterdam at this years IMS we simply had to link up again during ADE and come October 17 we'll be throwing the first instalment of W Amsterdam presents Mixmag Sessions.

We'll be kicking off the series in style and have invited the one and only Miss Kittin to headline the first of these unique events. An undisputed champion of electronic music champion Miss Kittin has been at the top of the game for well over a decade. Her signature tone and style has ensured she's featured on classics like Felix Housecoats 'Madame Hollywood', Sven Väth's 'Je T'aime' and Steve Bug's 'Antonelli Electric'. Her work with long time production partner The Hacker is essential listening and her DJ sets have taken her to the pinnacle of club land. There is no denying this womens credentials and we're delighted to welcome her back to MixmagTV having first captured her at ADE 2013.

Currently Miss Kittin stands on the verge of releasing her Pledge Music Campaign. The projects centres around her new release Kittin Collection which is a compilation of tracks Miss Kittin has featured on over the years hand picked by the lady herself. Much more then just your average compilation she's also created and original piece of art for the campaign more info found here.

On the night Miss Kittin will also be joined by Kabale und Liebe, the co-founder of the impeccable sound of Soweso Music and Amsterdam regular will be showcasing his on point sound during a special b2b set with label affiliate Lauhaus. Quality house and techno guaranteed throughout this one we're delighted these guys will be joining us come October 17.

This free party kicks off at 8pm local time and will be running till 3am. For those who can't make it fear not, as we'll be recording both sets in their entirety and uploading them to MixmagTV the following week.
