Опубликовано: 14 апр. 2015 г.Jag börjar dagen med en starköl
sen håller jag på i samma stil
Sen du tog ungarna och stack
så vill jag supa sönder mitt liv
Mina vänner har slutat ringa
och lika väl är det
Mina flaskor är mitt sällskap
Det är dom jag vill somna med
Jag ska bygga mig en pipe-line
från systemet och till mitt rum
Jag öppnar bara kranen
stoppar slangen i min mun
Som en kluckande vårflod
ska spriten rinna hit
Mitt enda problem
Bolaget ger ingen kredit
När jag dör och blir begraven
Vilat mig i prästens land
Så ta och skriv på min gravsten

GRiZ Bio:
Today at age 25, GRiZ (or Grant Kwiecinski, to his mom) is already being hailed as visionary. With his latest releases Say It Loud and Chasing The Golden Hour Pt. 1 (both via his All Good Records imprint), follow-ups to their predecessors, End of The World Party, Rebel Era and Mad Liberation, GRiZ has had a massive year. A sold out spring tour saw the artist headlining some of the nation’s top venues in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Philly, Nashville etc., the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre and the Detroit Masonic Temple in his beloved hometown. Just this year alone, the sax man released six singles that all claimed the coveted #1 spot on Hype Machine’s most popular charts.
Опубликовано: 27 нояб. 2013 г.Raggacore is a style of music derived from Ragga jungle that somewhat predates breakcore, characterized by ragga and dancehall rhythms and vocals. Its roots can arguably be traced back to jungle producer Remarc, who was one of the first producers to mix ragga and dancehall vocals with chaotic and intricately rearranged break beats. While only a few producers primarily work in the style, it still has a sizable following among breakcore fans. Notable examples of this style include Aaron Spectre, Bong-Ra, Cardopusher, Enduser, FFF, LFO Demon, Renard Queenston, Lemon Drizlay Crew, Istari Lasterfahrer, Shitmat, Venetian Snares, and Stivs from the Life4Land crew.
Bong-Ra, Jason Köhnen's electronic alter ego saw life in 1996. Hailing from The Netherlands, Bong-Ra initially started out as a DJ, but quickly focussed his priority on producing his own music in 1997. Djax Records signed Bong-Ra in 1998, proceeding to release the debut album 'New Millennium Dreadz' and the 12-inch series 'Darkbreaks' Volumes 1 and 2. Bong-Ra at that time was accompanied by MC Guzman on vocals.
In 2001 Clash Records (a hardcore jungle orientated 7-inch label) was set up. In that same year on the 12th of February John Peel invited Bong-Ra to do a 'Peel Session' which was released on UK label Deathsucker Records. Several vinyl releases followed in the period between 2001 and 2003. From 2001 to 2004 the 'Breakcore a Go-Go!' parties were run and organised by FFF and Bong-Ra becoming one of the first (bi) monthly regular Breakcore nights in Europe. 'Bikini Bandits, Kill! Kill! Kill!' the second full length album was released in 2003 on Supertracks Records. This album saw an audiovisual co-operation with US based film company Gyromart. The track '666MPH' was used on the Bikini Bandits DVD and the videoclip to '666MPH' aired on MTV. The Bikini Bandits audiovisual project became an exposition in the Museum of Modern Arts in Arnhem, The Netherlands. That year Bong-Ra also appeared on some of Holland's biggest Festivals: Lowlands, Metropolis and Eurosonic. Also a small UK tour with DJ Scud and Soundmurderer followed.
In 2004 Bong-Ra set up his second label Kriss Records, focussing on edgier breaks (mostly combining metal and breakbeats, releasing amongst others: Drumcorps, Scotch Egg and Venetian Snares). That same year the Center for Electronic Music (CEM) in Amsterdam asked Bong-Ra to produce a special 4 track EP solely using vintage equipment in the CEM studios, resulting in the 'Colony of Electric Machines' EP on the Vynalogica label. The 'Monsters of Mash Up' European Tour in 2005 with Shitmat (UK) and Enduser (USA) and a Japanese Tour with Parasite (UK) was followed by the third full length 'I am the God of Hellfire' released on Very Friendly and Ad Noiseam and the jungle/raggacore CD compilation 'Warrior Sound' on Supertracks (NL). In 2006 a special 4 track remix EP of Venetian Snares' 'Rossz Csillag Allat Szuletett' and the debut of Bong-Ra's main side project The Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble were released on Planet Mu (UK). The politically charged album 'Soldaat van Oranje' was released on Sublight Records (CAN). Bong-Ra returned for his second Lowlands Festival, becoming one of the highlights of the Festival (according to Dutch magazine OOR).

Since 2003, Ben Lukas Boysen is writing, producing and performing music, specializing in sounddesign and composition. The focus of every project is to find an efficient and direct way to leave a strong emotional impact, whether it is the production of an album or the conception and completion of a commercial project.
Опубликовано: 11 февр. 2015 г.Track 1/4, from Mare Nostrum (Hymen Records ¥832).
The introduction to Mare Nostrum is what it happens when two beings that don't know each other meet.
Ben Lukas Boysen was there to record the sounds of the supercomputer, but he didn't know MareNostrum, so they first had to tame each other. That's why the first part of this album is in my opinion the most abstract and raw from all, being the first contact between the artist and the computer.
Armed with a few microphones, the human had to find a way to interact with the machine first, understand its language to develop knowledge from a common foundation. You can hear in I the many tries to find the best way to communicate, where the recordings of mechanical elements from hard drives reader heads share the sounds of flowing electronic informations between central units, Serial-ATA wires and Ethernet cables.
The more the track progresses, the more focused and calm is the mood, just like we are on the verge of finding how to speak with the computer and how to understand the meaning of its sounds.
This is what I is for me. Taming, observation.
Enjoy folks, and if you feel like it, I'd like you to share your sensations too, here in the comments section or on my Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/adda.ambient
