«Imagine what would be if a church organist goes crazy, learns to growl, masters the wisdom of working with sound on computer, learns to beat drums rhythms in the manner of Slipknot, plays drum machine à la Venetian Snares. His favorite musical instruments would be Latin guitar, he would listen to music of the Middle Ages and his hobby would be to collect old records. Have you imagined that? Well, Igorrr is something of this kind.» — Dmitry Quarck, soundproector.com

Eonta (beings) is so entitled as a homage to the ancient Greek philosopher and poet Parmenides. The original printed form of the title word is Cypriot orthography of Creto-mycaenean origin, lost for over 24 centuries and only recently deciphered. Eonta, written in Berlin during 1963-64, was first performed at the Domaine Musical concerts in Paris, conducted by Pierre Boulez, in December 1964. It makes use of stochastic music (based on the theory of probabilities) and symbolic music (based on logistics). Some of the instrumental parts, notably the piano solo at the opening, were calculated on an IBM 7090 computer at the Place Vendôme, Paris.

Pārliecies pār kausu raud
Sadauzītais bundzinieks.
Asaras krīt lēni, lēni,
Asaras, kas viņam lāsts.
Visa pasaule ir miljons sāpes:
Kad raudi Tu — smejos es.
Cerībai vilnis krastā
Otrreiz neatnāk.
Cauri puspavērtai mutei
Vārdi mēles galā žūst.
Trepes, kas pret sauli liecas
Pirmā pakāpienā lūzt.
Visa pasaule ir miljons sāpes:
Kad raudu es — smejies Tu.
Cerībai vilnis krastā
Otrreiz neatnāk.
Nav neviens, kas celties palīdzēs.
Nav neviens, kas noticēs.
Taikai Tavs, Tavs pieskāriens
Šo dziesmu pabeigt spēs.
Visa pasaule ir miljons sāpes:
Kad raudu es — smejies Tu.
Cerībai vilnis krastā
Otrreiz neatnāk.
