Skull Vomit and Singaya are the two other monikers from Tony Welter who is also half of the fierce Electro/Grind duo Eustachian and partial owner of Fathme Records. The last few years, Tony has left the Eustachian name behind to rest respectively to concentrate on his 2 still very heavily metal influenced solo projects. One (Singaya), a dubstep driven, electronic grind scuffle and the other, (Skull Vomit) a more fast paced industrial breakcore riot. Either way, the original Eusta- chian blue print is still present but evolved, adapted and personalized to cover 2 very different but quite closely related bastard children. — Miike Teknoist

Опубликовано: 2 июн. 2016 г.On this episode of Expanded Perspectives the guys start off the show talking about how researchers claim that the Burmese python may no longer be Florida’s scariest invasive species. Recently, three Nile crocodiles were captured near Miami, and they say it’s possible more of the man-eating reptiles are still out there, although no one can say for sure. Then, a man claims that he saw two birds “the size of airplanes”. Then, encounters with shadow figures go far back in history, from shadowy monk like beings with hooded cloaks to the infamous “hat man” of more recent years. For the most part, the encounters are very disturbing for the witnesses and include feelings of fear and outright terror. Even more frightening are the cases of repeated encounters with these dark beings, cases wherein the shadow figure seems to be dwelling in the home of the victim, manifesting on a regular basis and often growing increasingly active and aggressive. Then, a Washington witness at Battle Ground reported watching what appeared to be a military helicopter escorting a cigar-shaped UFO very close to ground level. The incident occurred beginning at 11:20 p.m. on March 21, 2016, and was reported to MUFON the following day. After the break Cam brings up the many stories and sightings through Norway and abroad of mysterious Troll sightings. Are they real? And is there an active cover up by a few countries who know more than we think? Are certain sections of Norway closed off from the outside world in order to protect and not to anger the Trolls? All this and more on this weeks installment of Expanded Perspectives!

This Slumber Session mix gave me a great opportunity to make a playlist of something I would want to listen to when unwinding, or to just fall asleep to. I wanted it to be able to exist in the background, without focus, whilst at the same time having elements of detail and beauty scattered amongst the layers of sound unravelling as the mix progresses.
In some ways you can think of it as a soundtrack to a dream. There are moments of calm flowing smoothly into more abstract sections. Textures build to go from sparse emotive landscapes to darker, brooding moments of tension. I wanted it to be dynamic, taking in a variety of styles and influences, whilst giving the listener a coherent experience and painting some interesting images in their minds.
It also gave me the chance to put in a lot of unreleased tracks of mine. I make a wide variety of styles outside of my normal output, so it was great to have an outlet for some of that material. There are also a lot of field recordings I've made over the last few years throughout the mix, including some from my travels. The opening section of music features the sounds of walks in Sydney and San Francisco, which at the time was just some subconscious grabbing of sound recordings without any kind of artistic purpose — it just sounded cool at the time. It seemed fitting when I realised where the sounds were from, as the mix would have been the perfect playlist for a lot of my sleep deprived travels.
I ended up getting so involved putting together this mix that there's a lot of live tweaks of outboard reverb and delay units layered on certain tracks to try and get the sense of space I wanted to achieve and give the mix some breathing space. I find that ambient music can be incredibly beautiful and achieve the range of emotions other music can. I hope that you enjoy the musical selection and can immerse yourself in it, even with the emphasis away from the hooks and rhythms of traditional electronic dance music.
