Calyx & Teebee are Larry Cons and Torgeir Byrknes. They've been making music as a duo, and as solo artists, since the late nineties.
Labels like Moving Shadow and Metalheadz have put out their music. And their tunes have also popped up on games like Midnight Club and Grand Theft Auto 3.
They signed exclusively to Andy C's Ram Records earlier this year. And they've just released their first album for the label called 'All Or Nothing'.
This excellent Essential Mix features new and classic drum & bass from artists including dBridge, Photek, Wilkinson and Dilinjah. House & techno from Trentemoller, Gui Boratto and Stimming. Hip-hop from the likes of The Roots, J Dilla and Roots Manouva. And even soundtrack music from Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey.
Their Essential Mix consists of a real variety of different genres and styles, including drum and bass from dBridge, Photek and Dilinjah, techno from Trentemøller and hip-hop from J Dilla and Roots Manuva. First broadcast on the 8th December 2012 (08/12/12)

Mr. Andres paired several of these new etudes by Philip Glass with Impromptus of Franz Schubert, proposing that the composers share more in common than just their birthdays (January 31st), generations apart.
