«The Photographer is a chamber opera by composer Philip Glass that is based on the homicide trial of photographer Eadweard Muybridge. The opera is based on words drawn from the trial as well as Muybridge's letters to his wife. Commissioned by the Holland Festival, the opera was first performed in 1982 at the Royal Palace in Amsterdam.»

Vinyl record ripped at 24 bit 96KHZ and encoded with NeroAAC with -q 0.75 (500~ Kbps). Both sides of been mixed into a single track for this video. Picture changes once side B begins.

The introduction of this album is like a cure for your soul after a hard day, when you just want to forget everything and not think about anything, just be.

I see myself walking in the fields bordering my little village in the East of France, about 200 m behind my house. It's a crystal clear August night, temperature is about 23°C, a fine breeze strokes tall grass, walnut trees and wheat fields. You can only hear the sound of the water flowing in the nearby river and decides to walk along it.

Finally, you find a spot of comfortable grass to lay on, and start burying yourself in that gigantic sea of light formed by the shiny stars. You use your hands as a pillow and quickly, the sky takes you elsewhere, where troubles can't follow you.

Only In The Dark is one of my favorite song of this album, because it reminds me my native home, and suggests space and inner peace.
